Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in travel, style, and food. Hope you have a nice stay!

The Wigwam

Just about a 30 minute drive from the Phoenix Airport sits an Arizona landmark, The Wigwam. This beautifully crafted resort is full of historic charm. A walk around  the property will have you slightly obsessing over the the adobe style buildings and greenery. We profoundly enjoyed the beautiful palm trees and cacti that are spread throughout, and the signature scent that comes from the citrus tress is truly something special.

One of the highlights from our weekend at The Wigwam was dinner at Litchfield, the upscale farm-to-table restaurant on property. We loved the dishes that Chef Jason whipped up, especially the scallops and the Panna Cotta. The menu is seasonal with a focus on locally sourced goods, which we really appreciate.

Also, not to be missed is the spa. A visit to The Lemons Aveda Salon Spa was quite the treat. The space is extremely beautiful and serene. It’s almost as if you feel instantly at ease once walking through the doors. There’s several treatments to choose from, however we went with the oxygen facials. Our skin couldn’t have been happier.

Afterwards we hung out by the pool and relaxed while soaking up some sun. The overall experience was superb!

Every night was something special during our stay, whether it was the live performances, themed nights, or just the stunning sunsets that make you gasp. There’s something to do for everyone at The Wigwam!
