Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in travel, style, and food. Hope you have a nice stay!

Jumby Bay Island Resort

Jumby Bay Island Resort

In order to get to Jumby Bay you must take a ferry from mainland Antigua over to the island. As you get closer to the resort you begin to see crystal blue water, palm trees, and white sand. Once you arrive you are greeted with a welcome cocktail, your shoulders relax and your vacation officially begins!

Jumby Bay is designed to go at whatever pace you decide to take it. If you want your days filled with water activities, tennis lessons, or boat rides, then you can do that. If you want to do absolutely nothing but lay on the beach with a cocktail in hand, you can do that too! We spent a lot of time hanging out at the Veranda, this is essentially the hub of the resort, typically where you will see most of the other guests hanging out and grabbing drinks. This entire renovation has been perfectly designed by interior designer firm, Anastassiadis with thoughtful furniture perfectly placed all around, and one of the coolest bars we have seen. The beach is simply a postcard come true with its soft sand and clear blue waters. Thereโ€™s multiple pools on the island that all seem to be waiting just for you, hardly ever being overcrowded. Perhaps one of our favorite things about Jumby Bay is the staff. Everyone is so welcoming and kind, we thoroughly enjoyed every conversation. Beautiful resort, exquisite beaches, and great service, Jumby Bay you are one of a kind!
