Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in travel, style, and food. Hope you have a nice stay!

Pontchartrain Hotel

Pontchartrain Hotel

When we think of New Orleans we can’t help but to think about how charming the city is, and how The Pontchartrain captures that charm perfectly. Located in the garden district, away from the busy streets of downtown, and no less than a 10 minute ride to the French Quarter sits this historic hotel. An Architectural gem, the beauty of this property can not be missed. This is luxury!!

There’s 7 types of rooms to choose from when staying at The Pontchartrain, all have touches of southern elegance with a European flair. Perhaps our favorite room on the property was the Calliope King Suite. The yellow sofa really caught our eye. We loved the bathroom touches like the old school medicine cabinets and the fresh fragrances of Le Labo (we have a small addiction). Also, the comfort of the beds can’t be beat. One thing we took notice of during our stay was the attentiveness of the staff. Everyone is happy to help or just engage in a friendly conversation, which happens to go a long way.

Whether you’re dining in the hotels ever so famous restaurant, Jack Rose (more to come on this), heading up to Tin Roof for drinks and a great view of the city, or just relaxing in the one of the rooms; The Pontchartrain has you covered!
